Senior QA Analyst & QA

Responsibilities
- Lead
development of overall test strategies/test plans for automated and
manual testing – including definition of test cycles and schedules
- Train
test team with any necessary prerequisite technical or business
knowledge
- Assist
testers with test case/script creation
- Estimate
testing impact of requested change controls
- Facilitate
daily test defect review meetings
- Coordinate
the implementation of defect resolutions across the various
processing components/applications
- Implement
defect schema requirements for workstream group
- Ensure
compliance of workstream test teams to client standards and
processes.
- Lead
development and maintenance of
back-end/batch automated test scripts
- Lead
and assist with functional, system, integration, and performance
testing in accordance with client standards and processes across
diverse platforms
- Identify
test cases for regression suite
- Document
and monitor defects. Assist workstream teams in prioritizing

Required Experience and Skills
- BS
in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 5-7
years of QA test and process experience working in teams and
individual tester capacity, testing both Unix and Web-based (J2EE)
applications
- 2-4
years of QA experience in financial services sector
- 2-3
years of proven experience as test lead, developing
test strategies and schedules, as well as leading the work of
other team members in large test efforts (including, but not limited
to, functional, system, integration, and regression testing)
- Experience
in leading and conducting performance testing is a plus
- 3-5
years of experience in back-end/batch test script automation
- Strong
knowledge of Mercury Quality Center, TestDirector, Quick Test
Professional, WinRunner (certification preferred), Load Runner or
other comparable tools.
- Familiarity
with Rational tools such as ClearCase, ClearQuest, and RequisitePro
or other comparable tools
- Ability
to document and track defects, as well as produce detailed reports
using a defect tracking tool(s) (i.e., ClearQuest, Test
Director/Quality Center)
- Experience
with Oracle 9i SQL or PL/SQL, Sybase, Unix/PERL script a plus (i.e.,
demonstrated SQL skills to support test data setup, verification of
backend results, troubleshooting, etc.)
- Familiarity
with current software testing methodologies, such as black box,
white box, and boundary testing
- Demonstrated
business knowledge/expertise in secondary mortgage arena working
with applications and data is preferred
- Ability

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years experience is required, preferably on large
and complex telecommunication, building/construction, or
information technology projects.
Requirements
Individual with a computer science background in information
technology and thoroughly familiar with project scheduling and
planning. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical
skills. The individual should be an expert user of Project
Management tools such as Primavera Project Planner version
2.0/MS Project 98 or 2000, ABT Workbench, Open Plan. Must have experience
in project methodology, issue log, Gantt and Pert Charts, WBS,
risk analysis, negotiation skills and leadership.
Responsibilities
Carry out in-depth interviews, research and analysis. Liase with
clients to understand project objectives and develop project
plans, including work breakdown structures, organizational
breakdown structures, activities, dependencies, resource
estimates and coding. Develop project plans using Project
Management tool. Analyze critical paths, resource loading and
project cost. Liase with clients to obtain periodic status
reports of scheduled activities. Update project plan and produce
periodic and ad hoc management reports from project plans and
present status to project management team. Liase with clients to
understand risks and problems involved in completing the planned
activities. Play an instrumental role in helping clients to
resolve those issues and risks. Mentor other team members/client
on project management tools and techniques methodologies.

Requirements
Work directly with customer project managers in a mentoring,
coaching, and counseling capacity, which will include extensive
senior level interaction. Significant emphasis on process
review, process documentation, and process improvement.
Individuals with through understanding of project management
concepts and tools as well as the interpersonal skills and
experience to drive a project through to success. Serve as the
principal technical resource directing the use of high-end
project management tools (such as Primavera Project Planner) to
plan, manage and report life cycle status of major automated
information system projects. Identify performance metrics and
track milestones. Support modification and revision to program
documents.
Responsibilities

action items and will coordinate executive, management and
